Description: The Baylor College of Medicine is holding its’ Micheal E. DeBakey Medical Student Poetry contest. This annual contest honors the pre-eminent surgeon, pioneering medical scientist, gifted medical educator, and passionate advocate of optimal healthcare throughout the world. Dr. Michael E. DeBakey has a long advocated a role for the humanities in medical education and in the development of a full, enriching intellectual life. Eligibility: Open to currently enrolled students.
