Description:  The American Academy of Neurology offers several opportunites to submit, abstracts, and essays for their annual competition. Some of the competive awards include cash prizes and travel stipends to the annual convention.

Eligibility:  Currently enrolled students in good academic standing, must have spent less than one year on a project leading to the submitted essay, and essay cannot be a previously published manuscript.

Award Amount: Cash prize and certificate of recognition, complementary subscription to Neurology journal, and reimbursement for the AAN Annual Meeting travel, lodging and meal expenses.
