The New York Academy of Medicine Student Grants Program

Description:  The New York Academy of Medicine provides support to medical students who wish to conduct summer projects at a New York-area institution and must focus on one of the follow specialties:

  • Cardiovascular Research - Glorney-Raisbeck Medical Student Grants 
  • HIV/AIDS Prevention or Care - David E. Rogers Fellowship Program 
  • Microbiology - Louis L. Seaman Medical Student Research Grants  
  • Urology - Ferdinand C. Valentine Student Research Grants

Eligibility: Open to medical students who are between their first and second years of school.  Student must plan to conduct research at a New York-based institution (with the exception of the David E. Rogers Fellowship - research can be conducted at any institution)

Award Amount: up to $3,500
