Description: The board of directors of Alpha Omega Alpha awards up to 50 Student Research Fellowship Awards in order to encourage and support student basic laboratory research, clinical investigation, epidemiology or social science/health services research.

Eligibility: Open to M-1, M-2, M- 3 year students. M.D./PhD. program students are not eligible. Only one candidate from each school may be nominated.

Award Amount: $5,000 and up to $1,000 travel expense reimbursement

Duration/Location of Program: Summer term (8-10 weeks)/varies
