Description:   The American Heart Association Scholarships provide valuable stipends for students who wish to conduct research projects related to cardiovascular disease, stroke and basic sciences.  The stipends may be used for student expenses, lab fees or other costs incurred by the student during the project.

Eligibility:  Open to medical students where research in cardiovascular disease and stroke is available 

Award Amount: $2,000

Duration/Location:  2 month minimum/varies
