Description:  Since 1973, the society has awarded 4 to 6 scholarships a year to medical and/or dental students and scientists. The funds come from contributions and from fundraising dinners. Starting in 1989, an Esther Lim Memorial Scholarship was established, the result of a bequest by Dr. Lim, a late member of the Society, and her family. In 1996, a Ruth Liu Memorial Scholarship was added by Dr. George Liu and friends to honor Dr. Liu's late wife.  

Eligibility:  M-1, M-2 & M-3 students in good academic standing. 

Award Amount: $2,000 maximum
