Description:  The Medical Assistance Program International (MAP)/Reader’s Digest International Fellowship Program encourages lifelong involvement in global health issues by providing selected medical students firsthand  exposure in a Christian context to the health, social and cultural characteristics developing world community.    

Eligibility:  Open to M3 and M4 medical students. Applications should be submitted during academic year prior to travel.

Award Amount: Provides up to 100% of the approved round trip airfare to the destination most instances, students pay room and board as well as the remaining 25% costs.

Duration/Location of Program:   Minimum of 8-weeks/varies
