Applications for AWHS Overseas Assistance Grants are temporarily suspended due to  expended current funding.  As more funds become available for this program, AMWA will post a notice requesting applications.

Description:  American Women’s Hospital Services (AWHS) provides small grants, for assistance with transportation costs connected with pursuing medical studies in an off-campus setting where the medically neglected will benefit. 

Eligibility:  Open to National AMWA student member completing 2nd, 3rd or 4th year. Program must be sponsored by school or outside agency.

Award Amount: Up to $1,500

Duration/Location of Program:  6 weeks minimum/12 months maximum/varies
