"Dermatology is the branch of medicine concerned with the skin and all of its related diseases and disorders. These specialists treat both kids and adults who present with any type of disease (either benign or malignant) of the skin, mouth, hair, nails, sweat and sebaceous glands, external genitalia, and mucous membranes" (Freeman, p.169).
