Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator Sessions

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) was created based on psychological type theory of personality which was developed by Swiss psychiatrist Carl G. Jung. Type theory is used to describe the normal differences between healthy people. Based on his observations, Jung concluded that differences in behavior result from people's inborn tendencies to use their minds in different ways. As people act on these tendencies, they develop patterns of behavior.

All MBTI sessions will allow participants to complete the MBTI and participate in their own personality hypothesis building. Through these sessions participants will gain insight into their individual personality types and how type impacts their academic and career lives.

See the Careers in Medicine website for information on the correlation between Myers-Briggs Type and Medical Specialty.
