Medical Simulation Float Pool Technician
Job Description
- Performs moderately complex technical lab skills for the Simulation Center
- Assists in the technical instruction of learners
- Assist manager/senior staff/faculty in running learning events using hardware, software, task trainers and high-fidelity manikins
- Prepares, cleans, inventories and maintains equipment as specified by manager/senior staff/faculty
- Other duties as specified by manager/senior staff/faculty
Minimum Qualifications
- EMT-Paramedic
- Strong IT skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization skills/attention to detail
- Demonstrates critical thinking skills
Suggested Qualifications
- AAS in bioscience/EMS/Teaching/IT
- BS in bioscience/teaching/IT
- Proficiency with SharePoint/MS Word/Excel/MS Access/MS Power Point
- Medical teaching experience

Surgical Simulation Float Pool Technician
Job Description
- Assists manager and administrative staff in implementing the day-to-day operations of the laboratory and related training programs
- Supports medical education training sessions for surgical techniques, including but not limited to: organizing and preparing spaces, equipment and supplies for surgical training sessions; responding to needs during sessions; and cleanup/disinfection of lab areas upon completion of event
- Processing and preparation of human cadaveric, in-vivo animal and/or ex-planted animal tissues for use in surgical training sessions
- Attend to needs of clients and medical learners during training sessions and events
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a biological science or healthcare-related field or equivalent combination of education, training, certification and/or experience from which comparable skills can be acquired
- Experience handling biologic tissue (human and animal)

Simulation Nurse
Job Description
- Performs moderately complex clinical teaching skills for the Simulation Center
- Assists in the clinical instruction of learners
- Assist manager/senior staff/faculty in running learning events using hardware, software, task trainers and high-fidelity manikins
- Prepares the simulation environment for the seamless learning of clinical skills
- Other duties as specified by manager/senior staff/faculty
Minimum Qualifications
- RN
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Medical teaching experience
- Strong organization skills/attention to detail
- Demonstrates critical thinking skills
Suggested Qualifications
- Experience in hands-on simulation training
- BSN
- MSMEd
