Interested applicants must first follow all DPT application instructions and receive a Fall 2020 admission offer for the DPT program. DPT admission offers will be made on a rolling basis between early October and early December 2019.
Only admitted Fall 2020 DPT applicants will be considered for the DPT/MPH track; if the dual degree application is submitted in error, application fees will not be refunded.
Application Deadline: December 15, 2019
- The Graduate School (TGS) Online Application
- Personal Statement (1-2 pages, single-spaced, submitted via TGS application): Address interest in public health and how the MPH degree will impact the physical therapy education and future career goals.
- 2 References (submitted via TGS application): One may be a reference used for the DPT application (the individual will be required to submit their reference again via TGS application). The second reference should be a different individual from the DPT application and able to address ability to succeed in a dual degree program and/or to become a leader in the field of public health.
Please note, dual degree applicants are NOT required to send official GRE scores to TGS as the scores on file for the DPT application are sufficient.
A benefit of the dual degree program is the cost-effective method for earning the MPH: rather than full tuition for the MPH degree, students only pay a surcharge added to their DPT program tuition. The current surcharge rate for DPT/MPH students is $11,872 per academic year.
