Clerkship

The Department of Emergency Medicine plays a role in the education of Feinberg medical students throughout their program. The faculty and staff of Feinberg’s Department of Emergency Medicine have a strong commitment to undergraduate medical education beginning in the pre-clinical years.  Several members of the emergency medicine faculty instruct medical school curriculum, including: Problem-Based Learning (PBL); Medical Decision Making (MDM); Introduction to Clinical Clerkships (ICC); and Patient, Physician, and Society (PPS).

Visiting Student

The Department of Emergency Medicine offers a four-week visiting elective for fourth-year students attending other medical schools. 

Prerequisites for the visiting elective:

Students who meet Feinberg’s general application criteria for the visiting student elective program  may be considered for the emergency medicine elective.  We consider visiting applicants on a "first come, first served, space available" basis.
