This half-day program is designed to give attendees an overview of dermoscopy and common dermoscopic patterns. The target audience for this educational activity is geared toward practicing clinicians, trainees, medical students, nurses and physician assistants interested in dermoscopy.
As such the educational needs and objectives of the program are to allow attendees to be able to:
1. Recognize common dermoscopic structures seen in early cases of melanoma.
2. Identify patterns of benign nevi including common nevi, congenital nevi, dysplastic nevi, Spitz nevi, and acral nevi.
3. Identify dermoscopic patterns of basal cell, squamous cell, actinic keratosis, dermatofibromas, and common adnexal tumors.
This educational activity has been approved for 4.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) .
