Kevin Yu Receives American Heart Association Student Scholarship

Former CHIP Staff Member and Current PhD Student Kevin Yu was awarded a scholarship from the American Heart Association (AHA) to support cardiovascular disease research.

The AHA Student Scholarships in Cardiovascular Disease and Stroke are designed to stimulate interest, knowledge, and investigative work in students in medicine, nursing, public health, nutrition, and other allied health disciplines.

Kevin Yu is a student in the Northwestern University Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP), on the Health Sciences Integrated PhD Program's Health and Biomedical Informatics track. Before joining the MSTP program, he worked as a data analyst at CHIP, focusing on health informatics projects that intersected with cardiovascular disease outcomes.
