Quaggin to Give Lecture on Renal Glomeruli

Susan Quaggin, MD, director of the Feinberg Cardiovascular Research Institute and chief of medicine-nephrology, presents "Development and Maintenance of Renal Glomeruli" as part of the Lectures in Life Sciences series at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24, in the Hughes Auditorium at the Robert H. Lurie Medical Research Center. Quaggin, an international authority in the field of nephrology, joined Feinberg in January. A graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto, Quaggin studied internal medicine and nephrology. She did a post-doctoral fellowship at Yale University studying the genetic basis of kidney development, and later returned to Toronto for a fellowship in complex mouse genetics.
