Students will not be scheduled for more than an average of 28 scheduled contact hours per week in required activities during the pre-clerkship phase of the curriculum. Contact hours are defined as both structured teaching events (lectures, small group sessions, clinical placement, etc.) and required asynchronous learning activities such as pre-reading and video review. Independent study time is not included in the count of scheduled contact hours. This is monitored by the module directors and Associate Dean for Curriculum; students with any questions regarding this policy should contact these individuals.
