I am a pediatric critical care physician and Instructor of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. I enjoy practicing medicine in a multidisciplinary and innovative environment where many providers can collaborate in the care of complex diseases to make a difference for a child's outcome. I am interested in merging clinical care with innovations in healthcare technology to improve our capabilities in capturing patient data in a usable way to inform practice. My research focuses on understanding and improving nutritional therapy in critically ill patients. Specifically, I want to develop methods for determining how best to estimate energy profiles in critically ill patients in the setting of modern ICU care and adapt their nutritional therapy to optimize outcomes.[Shorten text]

Dr.Roebuck's academic focus is on improving the predictive capabilities of models used to inform our nutritional goals for critically ill patients. She is currently a Master's student in The Graduate School at Northwestern's Health and Biomedical Informatics program.
