Pride Runs in the NU Family

Over the summer, Northwestern Medicine and Northwestern University participated in Chicago’s 50th annual Pride Parade in support of the LGBTQ community. Many around the university and Northwestern Medicine hospitals have expressed an interest in helping advance LGBTQ policies. This year’s pride parade celebrated 50 years since the Stonewall riots – a historic event that led to the gay liberation movement and the modern fight for LGBT rights in the United States.
