What do you enjoy most about living in Chicago?
I love that there is so much to do and that you can often find fun, free things to do in the city. For example, in the summer, there are lots of free fitness classes available downtown - my roommate and I went for one near millennium park and one on Navy Pier at the beginning of the year. Sometimes, new restaurants will even host events where they give out free food as well! There is never a shortage of things to do and see in Chicago, which makes it a really fun place to live.
Tell us a bit about your interests and hobbies outside the classroom.
Outside of the classroom, I like to go on bike rides along the lake when the weather is nice and to try out different fitness classes with friends. The view of Lake Michigan and of downtown Chicago along the lakeshore trail never gets old! I also enjoy going horseback riding with some of my classmates - it is a great way to get off-campus once in a while and relax!
How would you describe the curriculum at Feinberg? What do you find unique or innovative?
If I had to pick one word to describe the curriculum at Feinberg, it would be "dynamic." The curriculum is constantly changing in response to student feedback. I think that the fact that module leaders and administrators truly do value student feedback and make changes according to what students say is what makes the curriculum so unique. It is nice to know that our voices are valued and heard!
Topics I can discuss with prospective students
- Academic Support (studying, learning)
- Campus Life
- Finding housing, roommates
