Medical Student Performance Evaluation

The MSPE represents an evaluation of a medical student's performance during the process of medical education. Each current student will have their Medical School Performance Evaluation/Deans Letter scanned into the system on or before the November 1 deadline.  All MSPEs transmitted via ERAS are automatically held until November 1. Paper copies sent to programs are not mailed before November 1.

Prior year graduates applying to immediately vacant positions that are not open to U.S. medical school seniors are not subject to the November 1 MSPE release date. MSPEs for these applicants may be sent outside of ERAS as soon as they are available.

MSPE Worksheet

The MSPE Worksheet will help us complete your MSPE (Medical Student Performance Evaluation). Further information and directions are included on the top of the worksheet, so please read it over carefully.

To complete and submit your worksheet, please follow the steps below.

1.       To fill in your responses, use the gray shaded boxes on the worksheet. (At first glance, the space looks small for your answers, but don’t worry.
As you type in your information the form will allow more room for your answers.)

2.       When you are finished completing your worksheet, save your worksheet file as lastname, firstname worksheet.doc.
          (example: langland, jennifer worksheet.doc)

3.       Save a copy of your most updated CV and name the file lastname, firstname CV.doc.
          (example: langland, jennifer CV.doc)
