Program Description: The AMA Foundation recently announced a call for proposals for its Seed Grant Research Program which annually distributes grants to support medical research programs led by medical students and residents. The grant is provided to assist medical students and residents who wish to conduct small projects in applied and clinical research in the following areas; Arthritis & Rheumatism, Cardiovascular/Pulmonary Disease, HIV/AIDS, Neoplastic Diseases, Neurological Disorders, and Leukemia Research.

Eligibility: Open to all medical students.  

Award Amount: $1,500 - $2,500
