Description: The Summer Clinical Research Fellowship Program award grants to outstanding medical students wishing to conduct either laboratory or clinical research in allergy and immunology during their summer recess in order to encourage their consideration of a career as a clinician in allergy and immunology. Clinical topics for research examples include optimizing health care of asthma, collecting a series of cases with an interesting diagnosis and preparing a literature review of the topic, a case report with a literature review, reviewing practice parameters related to management of a problem in allergy/immunology and applying to care in a clinic or office, as well as other topics of interest in the practice of allergy/immunology.
