Description: In memory of four members of the Benjamin Hoyt family, bequeathed funds to the California Community Foundation established the Hoyt Scholarship Program. The purpose of this scholarship is to award students enrolled in the respective alma maters of the benefactors: Northwestern University - Feinberg School of Medicine, Iowa State University, Marquette University and UCLA. For the 2007-08, academic year ten awards will be made to Feinberg Medical Students. Scholarships are awarded every other year. Eligibility: Must be a U.S. citizen and currently enrolled in Feinberg School of Medicine and has had one but less than four years of study. This program is only open to applicants who have not been previously awarded the Hoyt Scholarship.
