Description: This program is sponsored by the Pfizer Foundation and Pfizer, Inc. through the CDC Foundation. Eight to 10 medical students are selected to participate for one year in day-to-day epidemiology activities, including field work and possible outbreak investigations in programs around CDC, with an emphasis on non-infectious disease assignments. Eligibility: Open to 3rd and 4th year medical students with a clinical background. Must be a U.S. citizen. Award Amount: $18,000- $20,000 stipend to be paid in monthly installments & up to $1,000 in moving expenses to Atlanta.
