In addition to the CiM program, we provide career courses and seminars as well as a comprehensive advising program. Beginning in the M1 and M2 years, students can learn about medical specialty careers by attending specialty interest group programs, attending brown bag lunches introducing physicians from a variety of specialties, or attending grand rounds through the Northwestern Memorial Healthcare System. M3 students are introduced to a comprehensive systematic approach to the processing of specialty information during the year-long Interdisciplinary Medicine (IDM) course.
