Applications for senior externships at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine are processed through the Office of Medical Education. The application materials are online and questions should be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org or (312) 503-1392. Urology externship applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis and will be closed once the available positions are filled, so you are encouraged to apply early if interested. In addition to the standard application materials, the Department of Urology requires that you also submit a current curriculum vitae with your application.
Once your application is processed through the Office of Medical Education, it will be sent to the Department of Urology. If your application is approved, you will be notified in a letter regarding the administrative details of your externship and sent a copy of the required reading materials.
Northwestern is committed to a diverse training environment. To defray expenses for Visiting Clerkship students who are from groups traditionally underrepresented in medicine, the GME Diversity Council offers stipends up to $1,500 for rotations during the summer through early winter or as funds allow. These grants help make it possible for students to experience Northwestern programs first-hand. Contact email@example.com or their website regarding the stipend.
