Comprehensive Transplant Center

Clinical Trials

The Comprehensive Transplant Center is proud of our well-established and robust clinical research program. We are very active in all areas of kidney, pancreas, liver and islet cell transplantation clinical research. Among our larger, multi-center studies is a NIH-funded Adult-to-Adult Living Liver Transplant, Clinical Islet Transplantation, and the Clinical Trials in Organ Transplantation studies.

Another significant area of interest for us is the development of tolerance in transplant recipients eliminating the requirement for life-long immunosuppression.

For more information on the Comprehensive Transplant Center trials, please go to clinicaltrials.gov or call Kolver Organ Transplantation Center at 312-695-8900.

Transplant-related pediatric clinical trials can be found via the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital Research Center site’s Clinical Trials section.
