Welcome to Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine’s Comprehensive Transplant Center website. Our mission is to make the Comprehensive Transplant Center at Feinberg the pinnacle of academic excellence in transplantation. We are committed to having the best clinical practice through our Feinberg-affiliated hospitals, high-impact research, and the most desirable training programs in transplantation.
To achieve our goal, we look to foster a sense of shared destiny and pride of enterprise by facilitating interdependent and interdisciplinary academic initiatives. We invite you to learn more about the fellowships available through our center.
The CTC was established in 2009 on a model of research and training cores and administrative support constructed to support collaborative research that reaches as broadly as possible across academic disciplines. These collaborations – including researchers and educators from medicine, basic sciences, law, business, social sciences, public policy, and engineering – are encouraged to be broad and ambitious. Developing Better Care
By engaging the best minds in as many fields as possible, we hope to transform the lives of patients and their loved ones for whom devastating diseases threaten lives and well-being with innovative research that stretches from basic science through clinical translation to advanced outcomes measurement and comparative effectiveness and ultimate healthcare policy.
