Our community-based health promotion researchers have combined their research interests of physical activity and sedentary behavior with community health promotion to study community-based interventions. Additionally, studies are underway that assess community-based physical fitness in individuals post stroke. Multiple studies have been in collaboration with community-based organizations in an underserved population in Chicago.
