Mission:

The NU-SRALAB Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency will be a training ground and model for the specialized practice of neurologic physical therapy in the 21st century, to foster an ability-driven, outcomes-based professional culture committed to the integration of science-based clinical reasoning and clinical care, and to lifelong learning and research.

The Northwestern University & Shirley Ryan AbilityLab Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency is accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association as a postprofessional residency program for physical therapists in neurologic physical therapy.

Application

Applications to the residency are submitted via the online RF-PTCAS national common application system: http://www.abptrfe.org/RFPTCAS/ApplicantWebsite/ .  The RF-PTCAS application cycles begin on October 1 (or the first business day of October) each year.

Please consult our residency calendar (found in the Information Packet, and on the Admissions Calendar sidebar on this webpage), for our program’s admissions closing date for the year you are applying.  Applicants may start to submit the RF-PTCAS application as soon as it is available each cycle year.
