Clinical Practice Ceremony
The Clinical Practice Ceremony is an important event that marks the first year students' transition from the classroom to clinical practice. The ceremony includes a welcome from the Dean of the Feinberg School of Medicine or a representative, a keynote address from a physical therapy care recipient, remarks from a student in the 2nd year of the DPT program, and an awards presentation to the outstanding clinical partner of the year. The ceremony highlight is the DPT 1 class being presented their patches for their white coats, and their first recitation of the Physical Therapy Oath. A reception follows the ceremony.
The ceremony for the Class of 2015 will be held Friday, June 21, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Location TBA.
