The Northwestern University Physician Assistant (PA) Program is an accredited, graduate level Program awarding a Master of Medical Science (MMS) degree.
The Program features an innovative 24-month didactive curriculum that utilizes lecture, small group discussion, clinical experiences, and problem-based learning. The clinical year consists of eleven rotations at sites located throughout the Chicago area. These include seven core rotations and four elective rotations, from which students have dozens to select. Located in the heart of Chicago, the Program is part of one of the top academic medical centers in the world, provides a wide variety of settings that serve diverse patient populations, and offers students access to all the social and cultural benefits of a major city.
- Full-time 24-month program located in the center of downtown Chicago
- The Program enrolls 30 students once per year in June
- Candidates who have a baccalaureate degree and have successfully completed all the prerequisite courses and admission requirements will be considered for possible admission to the program
- 102 credits must be successfully completed in order to graduate
