Clinical Refractive Surgery Curriculum

The Refractive Surgery Curriculum at Northwestern spans all three training years in the program. Residents are trained in refractive procedures that are excimer laser based (LASIK, PRK), IOL based (multifocal and astigmatism correcting IOLs), and cornea based (limbal relaxing incisions).The program is currently being enhanced to provide a top-notch refractive experience. Under the leadership of Michael Rosenberg, MD and Dr. Robert Feder, MD the curriculum is as follows:

On-going lectures and Grand Rounds presentations throughout the year will be part of the didactic curriculum for all residents. Occasional visiting lecturers will present on refractive topics as part of the Friday morning didactic curriculum.
