Viral Replication Training Grant

The Viral Replication Training Grant (VRTG) is a T32 Training Program sponsored by the National Institutes of Health. The grant supports an initiative to provide a cross campus network of research faculty dedicated to training the next generation of virologists in cutting edge research in molecular, cellular, and neural virology. Graduate students in the Driskill Graduate Program (DGP), Interdepartmental Biological Sciences (IBiS) program, Northwestern University Interdepartmental Neuroscience (NUIN) program, and Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) are supported by this mechanism. Two students receive a training slot each year for a term of one year that can be renewed for a second year, allowing for up to four concurrent students.
