Focus of Work

Our research focuses on cell cycle deregulation by DNA tumor virus oncogenes (Adenovirus E1A, Simian virus 40 large T, and human papilloma virus E6 and E7). In particular, we are interested to find out how binding of these viral tumor antigens to cellular proteins such as pRb, p300/CBP and other proteins affect G1/S phase transition. We use molecular genetic approaches to study these aspects.
