In the Northwestern University Multidisciplinary Clinical Research Center, it is our mission to:
a) conduct cutting-edge research aimed at the prevention or control of rheumatologic diseases and poor outcomes associated with them;
b) provide the academic environment that supports the interdisciplinary research of Center investigators, and
c) help to organize and galvanize rheumatologic disease across the institution.
The Center operates as an integrated unit to address a broad range of clinical research endeavors. We are participating in national efforts to increase awareness within the academic community and community at large of the public health burden of rheumatologic diseases and the possible public health, medical, and rehabilitative solutions for these conditions and their consequences.
