CTC Microsurgery Core

Mission

The mission of the Comprehensive Transplant Center (CTC) Microsurgery Core is to provide comprehensive microsurgery services for basic and preclinical animal research. We offer a variety of acute and chronic surgical models and companion blood gas/chemistry assays for use in mechanistic studies and drug discovery. Our microsurgeons have extensive experience in performing sophisticated surgical procedures, such as vascularized organ transplantation in rodents, and are available to assist in the creation of the most innovative in vivo animal models. In addition, we offer technical training and consultations on any issues pertaining to microsurgical techniques.
