24/7 Illinois Perinatal HIV Hotline
For the Care of Women Who Are Pregnant and HIV-Positive

The 24/7 Illinois Perinatal HIV Hotline is a 24-hour resource for medical and social service providers caring for pregnant, HIV-positive women.

In order to ensure healthy outcomes for mothers and their babies, the hotline provides:

  • Phone consultation for up-to-date treatment guidelines on HIV, pregnancy, and labor and delivery
  • Phone consultation for access to urgent social services
  • Transportation and/or escort for access to HIV care and prenatal care
  • Referrals for mental health services, chemical dependency, case management, housing, legal assistance, WIC and Medicaid eligibility
  • Support for women found to test preliminary positive through rapid HIV testing
