Neonatal Resuscitation Program

The Northwestern Perinatal Center is committed to the support of institution-based Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) courses within the Perinatal Network. NRP Instructor Courses are offered with no course fee (for Network hospital staff) once or twice each year, as needed, to maintain a base of instructors at each institution. Per the American Academy of Pediatrics only MD, Rn, Rt or PA can become instructors. Please visit their website for complete details http://www.aap.org/nrp/default.html

Course Registration Information

As each program has a maximum number of participants, early registration is encouraged. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, and classes fill quickly. Please use the Northwestern Perinatal Center registration form. You may e-mail, fax, or mail the form to the Perinatal Center. Telephone registrations are not accepted. If course fees are required, the registration form along with check should be submitted/mailed to the Perinatal Center. If your employer is paying for your course fees, this must be indicated on the registration form with the appropriate contact name. The registration deadline is two weeks before each course date, unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to cancel a course due to insufficient registrations.

Refund Policy

Full fees will be refunded if notice of cancellation is received two weeks prior to class, or if the program is cancelled by the Perinatal Center. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than two weeks prior to class. However, if the cancellation occurs at least 24 hours prior to class, fees may be applied toward a new class. No refunds or application of fees will be provided for “no shows” or cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to class.
Receipts are available upon request to the Perinatal Center.
