Genetics in Graduate and Postgraduate Medical Education

Medical Students

Fourth-year medical students may participate in the clinical genetic activities of the Division of Reproductive Genetics during a six- to eight-week rotation. Medical students attending universities other than Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine are also encouraged to participate.

Residents in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Pathology

Residents in the third year of the residency program in obstetrics and gynecology and in the fourth year of the residency program in pathology participate in the clinical genetics activities of the Division of Reproductive Genetics during a six-week rotation. Residents from outside programs are not eligible.

Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellows

First- and second-year fellows in the maternal-fetal medicine program develop their own educational programs, which vary in duration and dovetail with the clinical and research activities of the Division of Reproductive Genetics.
