Submitting an Application to NUPSP

Prior to submission of an application to the Northwestern Undergraduate Premedical Scholars Program, interested students who have met admission requirements should:

• Familiarize themselves fully with the Feinberg School of Medicine’s medical curriculum and features of the school by visiting:  http://www.medschool.northwestern.edu/education/
• Meet with a premedical advisor in the University Academic Advising Center for assistance in evaluating their completed academic course of study and extra-academic activities for NUPSP application.  (for an appointment, e-mail: premed-prehealth@northwestern.edu) 
• Explore fully the extent of their motivation towards a career in medicine with both their premedical and college advisors.        
• Seek advice from their premedical advisor and their college advisor on whether the Feinberg program is a good fit for them and, subsequently, determine their commitment to a binding Feinberg attendance decision.

The NUPSP application submission period is usually from September 30 through November 15 of each year. The application and directions are  available on this page by September 15. Application materials are accepted only during the submission period.
