| Most students will use the Webmail program to read their email. It is found at http://www.northwestern.edu/webmail/. Simply choose the proper email host and then login with your netid and password. Many other programs can be used to read e-mail. However, we are most likely to be able to be helpful with Webmail, Outlook, and Eudora, since these are the programs with which we are most familiar. Whether or not you choose Webmail as your method of reading email, you must change your netid password every 120 days. To change your password please take the following steps: - Change your netid password:
Go to https://snap.it.northwestern.edu/it/snaps/unetid.cgi
- Carefully read the password requirements, change the password, set the PIN, click the link to the NU network and computing policy http://www.it.northwestern.edu/policies/responsibilities.html if you have not already read it.
