NetID and Electronic Mail Account

Most student e-mail accounts are powered by Google Apps for Education.  The login site for these accounts in the "@fsm" domain is http://students.fsm.northwestern.edu.  Your access to your account can be authenticated by using your netid and password. 

To change your password please take the following steps:

1. Go to the NU Validate site:
   Go to http://nuvalidate.northwestern.edu
2. Carefully read the information concerning netid and password security and change the password.  Information about the NU network and computing policy is available at http://www.it.northwestern.edu/policies/responsibilities.html.
3. Record your answers to the security questions so that you can reset the password by yourself without having to go to the NU IT Office.
