Technical Support for Medical Students

There are technical support resources available to you as a medical student. These resources should be able to assist you with common computer problems such as NetID and e-mail account issues, standard productivity software problems, security problems, connecting from off-campus, and policy information.

Make An Appointment for Technical Support

Please make a reservation to drop by to meet with our technical support staff.  We are located on the ninth floor of the Rubloff Building, Room 9-918  (750 N. Lake Shore Drive).  Please call (312) 503-0105 to reserve a time.  You may also write to studentsupport@northwestern.edu to provide your name and contact telephone number so that we can confirm your appointment.

The technical support staff will be available each afternoon Monday - Friday of the first weeks of the school year. If the technical support person can provide immediate assistance they will do so.  If the problem is beyond something they can help with they will provide recommendations of other sources of support.  In some cases they may need to set aside more time to assist you with the technical difficulty.
