In 1995, she received her Biochemistry degree under the mentoring of Dr. Joseph Martial, in the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering at the University of Liege, Belgium, where she studied the regulation of prolactin gene expression in tilapia. From 1996-1999, she was a postdoctoral fellow and then Research Associate in the Department of Pediatric Nephrology in the laboratory of Dr. William Schnaper at Northwestern University in Chicago. Since 2000, she has been promoted to Research Assistant Professor in the same Department at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. | | | | Reading, taking walks or bicycle rides, cooking and shopping.
