Tomoko Hayashida, MD, PhD

Research Focus:  Decipher intracellular signals for TGF-β that induces extracellular metrix accumulation in kidney mesangial cells.
  

Educational History: 

Medical School: Keio University Medical School in Tokyo

Postgraduate training: Residency and Fellowship in Medicine/Nephrology at Keio University Hospital; worked as an attending at Dialysis center of Keio hospital and Saitama Central Hospital; came to US and joined with Schnaper Lab in 1997

 
Personal Interests:  Playing the cello, tennis, skiing, camping/hiking
