Jacqueline Schriewer
IGP Student

Jacqueline Schriewer received her undergraduate degree from Loyola University Chicago where she spent two years of research on repetitive junctions at the centromere of human chromosome 21.  Jackie then became a technician in the laboratory of Dr. Robert Goldman for one year looking at intermediate filament expression in embryonic stem cells.  Her graduate work at Northwestern in the Integrated Graduate Program began in 2005 in Dr. Dean's laboratory researching quantifying episome transcription for the purposes of improving gene therapy approaches.   Since 2007, Jackie has been researching molecular events leading to cellular damage during acute ischemia in the laboratory of Dr. Paul Schumacker.
