Courses and Curriculum

The Faculty Development Program includes four core courses of the Master's Program in Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety, a webinar series, and an independent study. The independent study is designed to augment the newly acquired knowledge in healthcare quality and patient safety with a focus on developing tools and methods for educating medical students and residents, in order to integrate these competencies into the medical education curriculum.

To truly improve the quality of care, health care professionals need to be educated in healthcare quality and patient safety. A key component of creating a healthcare workforce that is skilled in quality and safety is to educate our educators.
