On Wednesday, October 28, faculty and physicians, staff, patients, and friends gathered to celebrate the launch of the Northwestern University Comprehensive Transplant Center. Emeriti faculty and physicians emeriti enjoyed a warm reception and special program featuring Dean Harrison and J. Larry Jameson, MD, PhD. The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery recently hosted a special lecture featuring noted business leader Alfred E. Mann. The Department of Ophthalmology hosted the sixth annual Arthur and Esther Kane Lectureship on New Advances in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Retinal Diseases on October 21. |
