Her Crown and Glory: An evening in support of the Lurie Cancer CenterOn Thursday, November 12, join your fellow Chicagoans for an evening of fashion, fun, and glorious hair in support of the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University. Your hosts, Nicole Mangrum of Freedom Salon and Delores Gillum Brown of the Krystal Foundation, will lead an evening of style dedicated to African American women with cancer who are challenged with alopecia or hair loss. Showcasing holiday couture for men and women, the evening will feature live music from some of Chicago's finest musicians, hors d'oeuvres, and a premium cash bar, as well as a 360 degree panoramic view of Chicago's distinctive skyline and the unparalleled vistas of Lake Michigan, Millennium Park, and the Gold Coast.
